Tempe Center for the Arts provides a variety of accessible services and accommodations including, but not limited to:

  • Accessible seating
  • Accessible parking 
  • Accessible/family restrooms 
  • ASL signed performances (due to high demand for ASL services, if not already scheduled, a minimum four-week advanced notice required) 
  • Listening devices 
  • Audio description
  • Braille print programs (if not already scheduled, a minimum two-week advanced notice required)
  • Large print programs (if not already scheduled, a minimum two-week advanced notice required)
  • Sensory tools

Additional services can be provided with advanced notice (minimum of 2 weeks) by contacting our box office at boxoffice@tempecenterforthearts.com.

If you need to request an accommodation to attend a performance at TCA, please mention your request to the ticket agent during the time of the purchase. If you need to purchase accessibility seating, you can do so by calling the Box Office at (480) 350-2822.


For Patrons and Visitors with Mobility Disabilities:

  • Accessible Seating
    Accessible seating and companion seating is available on all levels of the theater, studio and lobby areas. There are aisle transfer seats in all theaters.  Please inform the box office of any special requirements when purchasing your tickets.

  • Accessible Parking
    Accessible spaces are located in the parking garage. Parking Map
    Note:  The distance between the parking garage and TCA's main entrance is 500 ft.

  • Accessible Entrances 
    There are elevators to all levels of Tempe Center for the Arts. All entrances to the center are accessible.

  • Accessible Restrooms
    Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available throughout the venue.  Infant changing stations are also available.

  • Courtesy Wheelchairs 
    Courtesy wheelchairs are available for our patrons and visitors while they are at Tempe Center for the Arts (subject to availability). Please contact the House Manager on site. Please note that staff, volunteers, and ushers are not able to assist patrons in transferring or to provide personal attendant services.

For Patrons and Visitors who are Sight Impaired:

  • Large Print Programs / Braille Print Programs
    Large print and braille programs are available upon request with at least a four-week notice.

  • Audio-Described Performances
    Audio Description is available upon request with at least a two week notice and based on availability of a qualified describer.

For Patrons who are Deaf or have Hearing Loss:

  • Assistive Listening Devices
    Assistive listening devices are available at all performances in the theaters. Headsets are free of charge and subject to availability. Patrons attending performances may obtain assistive listening devices at Coat Check or by contacting the House Manager on site.

  • Sign Language Interpretation
    Sign language interpreted performances are available upon request with at least a two week notice and based on availability of a qualified interpreter.
