The Deputy Community Services Director of Arts and Culture is responsible for leading, guiding, and aligning the Arts and Culture Division by overseeing the planning and administration of a comprehensive system of performing and visual arts programming to grow arts and culture literacy, ignite creative vibrancy, deepen belonging, and celebrate regional distinctiveness. The Arts and Culture Deputy works closely with City Council, City Manager’s Office, Boards and Commissions, arts partners, employee groups, city departments, and other governmental and non-governmental entities to improve lives, neighborhoods, and the entire Tempe community.

Tempe Center for the Arts is seeking a driven and experienced Production Crew Chief to assist with the production needs of events. This is a full-time temporary position featuring limited medical benefits and paid sick leave.
Location: Tempe Center for the Arts

Salary Wage: $24.75/hour
Schedule: 30-40 hours per week. Work schedule varies in accordance with event schedule

AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR - TEMPE CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Tempe Center for the Arts seeks to fill an Audience Experience Coordinator role at Tempe Center for the Arts. The Audience Experience Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring our patrons have an exceptional and memorable experience. This position requires a proactive and experienced individual with a strong background in coordinating audience services in a multi-venue arts center or similar facility. You will oversee all aspects of front of house services as well as collaborate with the box office team to ensure seamless operations across multiple venues.
Location: Tempe Center for the Arts and various other locations in Tempe
Closing Date: Open until filled
Salary Wage: $73,613 - $97,905, plus benefits
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Some nights and weekend work will be required (with an adjusted work schedule)

Tempe Arts & Culture seeks Stagehands to assist the Production Team and Arts & Culture Division staff with production and physical needs of any events delivered by the Arts & Culture Division. When applying, specify which level(s) interest you on the job application.

Hourly Wage: $16-19/hour, starting wage commensurate with experience
Schedule: Varies, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week; evening and weekends may be required for events.
