Reclaiming Hope: Afrofuturist Visions
thru January 4, 2025
This satellite exhibition is a sister exhibition to the Reclaiming Hope: Afrofuturist Visions exhibition at the Gallery at TCA. Exhibition themes center around Afrofuturist concepts related to the imagination, dreaming, hope, beauty, technology and science-fiction. The artworks selected by guest curator Granville Carroll are from local artists who dare to dream of a world shaped by Black voices and healing. Stop by the Post Office in the heart of downtown Tempe on Mill Avenue to enjoy thoughtful art displays by Black Arizona artists who focus on remembrance and future building.
